Setup, optimisation and ongoing management across Google, TripAdvisor, Apple and Bing for restaurants, hotels, pubs, bars and other physical hospitality venues.
Guests may check Google Search, Google Maps, TripAdvisor, Apple Maps or Bing before they visit a venue. Spotty Media helps bricks-and-mortar hospitality businesses claim, verify, improve and manage those listings so the information people find is current and the next step is clear.
We offer one-off setup and optimisation as well as ongoing management. The work can cover individual restaurants, hotels, pubs, bars, inns and B&Bs or groups with multiple locations. It can also connect with your hospitality website, booking route and photography and content where those parts of the guest journey need attention.
This is practical hospitality listings support, not a ranking guarantee. Platform features and reporting differ, and Google, TripAdvisor, Apple and Bing retain control over verification, moderation and reinstatement decisions.
Why Hospitality Listings Need Attention
A guest may see opening hours, photographs, reviews, menus and booking options directly in a search or map result. If those details are incomplete or inconsistent, the venue creates uncertainty at the point where somebody is trying to choose.
Current hours, contact details, categories, attributes and links help people understand what the venue offers and avoid preventable confusion.
Suitable photography, video, descriptions and updates can give potential guests a more useful picture of the food, rooms, atmosphere or occasion.
Website, menu, booking, call and direction routes should lead people towards the action the venue can actually support.
Reviews And Listing Decisions
These figures explain why accurate listings and responsible review management matter. They use different sources and populations, so they should not be treated as forecasts for an individual hospitality venue or a Spotty Media campaign.
90%
of consumers were found to use reviews, according to UK government information published with the 2025 consumer-law changes.
89%
of UK adults said they use online customer reviews when researching a product or service in research cited by the CMA in 2026.
2.5x
more visits were reported for claimed Tripadvisor restaurant listings in Tripadvisor's internal August 2023 to August 2024 comparison.
Sources: UK government consumer-protection announcement, April 2025; Competition and Markets Authority update, March 2026; Tripadvisor for Business restaurant-listing information. The two review figures cover consumers beyond hospitality. Tripadvisor’s comparison is platform-owned research and is not a guaranteed outcome for every claimed listing.
These examples show the difference between a setup project and an ongoing-management brief. They describe the work Spotty Media carried out without attributing unverified rankings, views, calls, bookings, visits or revenue to the listings.
Setup and ongoing management. Spotty Media completed initial Google Business Profile setup and continued managing the listings for Tin of Sardines. For the Roker venue, the work also included TripAdvisor, helping keep key information and the venue’s presence maintained across two places customers may check.
Google and TripAdvisor setup. Spotty Media set up The Blue Lion’s presence on Google Business Profile and TripAdvisor. The project established the profiles and the information needed to represent the hospitality business accurately, giving guests a clearer place to check key details on both platforms.
At Spotty Media, we create powerful digital marketing strategies that help hospitality businesses stand out and attract more customers. Book a free consultation today and let’s take your brand to the next level.
The scope starts with the venue, its existing accounts and the platforms that matter to its guests. We then agree what needs fixing once and what needs ongoing attention. Clients can approve activity when they want to, although most agree the tone, responsibilities and escalation points upfront and leave routine management to Spotty Media.

We review ownership, access, duplicates, venue details, categories, attributes, links, imagery and consistency across the agreed platforms.

We claim, create or verify eligible profiles where required, then correct the information and organise ownership so the client retains control.

We complete the agreed one-off work or manage suitable updates, media, posts, links, questions and optional review activity over time.
For ongoing clients, we report available listing activity and identify useful actions without presenting platform interactions as confirmed revenue or visits.
“Thanks to their expertise, our platforms have grown significantly in both engagement and followers, allowing us to showcase our work, our team, and the incredible suppliers who make it all possible.”
“Cara and Georga are organised, passionate and get the job done. Their expertise has helped us truly showcase what we deliver in terms of food and accommodation and we have seen growth thanks to their work”
“They lead the way when it comes to innovative campaigns. The improvements to our marketing efforts have exceeded our expectations. We are excited to continue to work with them.”
“They really understand our restaurant’s ethos and what we are trying to achieve and do everything they can to help us reach our goals.“
Spotty Media can claim and verify an eligible venue, review access, merge duplicate listings and improve the information displayed through Google Search and Maps. Work may include categories, attributes, opening and special hours, menus, booking and website links, photographs, videos, posts and questions and answers where Google supports them.
We can also prepare and submit a reinstatement request for a suspended profile. Google makes the final decision, so reinstatement and Map rankings cannot be guaranteed. Restaurant operators wanting to understand the wider search journey can also read our guides to getting a restaurant onto Google Maps and local visibility for restaurants.

TripAdvisor is particularly relevant to restaurants, hotels, inns, B&Bs and visitor-led hospitality venues. Spotty Media can help claim and set up the listing, improve the available business information, add suitable photos and manage supported profile details.
Review monitoring and responses can be added to the service at an additional cost. We agree the tone, approvals and escalation points with the client, then either submit content for approval or manage routine activity independently within that agreement. We never create fake reviews or promise a particular rating.
Guests do not all use the same device or search platform. Spotty Media can add, claim, verify and update eligible physical locations through Apple Business and Bing Places, subject to the access and review processes each platform requires.
The available fields differ, but the aim is consistent: give customers reliable venue information, appropriate imagery and a useful route to the website, booking option, call or directions. These listings can support the same wider guest journey without pretending every platform offers identical features.

Ongoing management is available for individual venues and hospitality groups with several locations. The brief can cover scheduled checks, seasonal hours, profile updates, menus, links, photography, video, posts, questions, review management and reporting across the agreed platforms.
Clients retain ownership and control of their profiles. Spotty Media is added with suitable access, and new listings are created with the client added as an owner. If fresh imagery is needed, it can be planned through our hospitality photography and content-creation service.
Based in Durham. Working across the UK.
Spotty Media supports bricks-and-mortar restaurants, hotels, pubs, bars, inns, B&Bs and other eligible hospitality venues across the North of England and throughout the UK. Multi-location projects can keep the wider brand consistent while preserving accurate information for each individual venue.
The service is for businesses with physical hospitality premises and remains subject to the eligibility rules of Google, TripAdvisor, Apple and Bing.
One-off setup and optimisation is scoped as a standalone project. Ongoing management normally begins with a three-month initial term. Pricing is bespoke and reflects the number of venues, platforms, updates, posts, reporting requirements, review-management scope and any access, duplicate or reinstatement work required.
For ongoing clients, reporting may cover profile views, searches, website clicks, calls, direction requests and booking actions where the platform supplies that information. Availability varies, and a listing interaction is not automatically a confirmed booking, visit or sale.
The agreed work can include an audit, access and ownership checks, claiming, setup, verification support, categories, attributes, opening hours, menus, booking and website links, photos, videos, posts, questions and answers, duplicate management and reporting. The exact scope depends on the venue and whether the project is one-off or ongoing.
The service is designed for eligible bricks-and-mortar hospitality businesses such as restaurants, hotels, pubs, bars, inns, B&Bs and other customer-facing venues with physical premises. Platform eligibility rules still apply.
No. Google is a major part of the service, but Spotty Media can also manage suitable listings through TripAdvisor, Apple Business and Bing Places. The features and verification process differ between platforms.

Yes. Spotty Media can investigate and merge duplicate listings where the profiles and Google’s process allow it. More complex ownership or data conflicts may require evidence or action from the business owner.
We can review the likely issue, prepare the information and submit a reinstatement request. Google makes the final decision, so Spotty Media cannot guarantee that a suspended profile will be restored.
Yes. Review monitoring and responses can be included at an additional cost. We agree tone, approval and escalation rules with the client. We do not write fake customer reviews or guarantee a particular rating.
Yes. Spotty Media can support hospitality groups with multiple physical locations as well as individual venues. Each location still needs accurate local information, suitable access and compliance with the relevant platform’s rules.
We can manage suitable assets supplied by the client. If stronger or more current imagery is needed, hospitality photography and video can be commissioned separately through Spotty Media’s content-creation service.
Pricing is bespoke. It depends on the number of venues and platforms, the work needed at setup, update and posting frequency, reporting, optional review management and any duplicate, access or reinstatement issues.
Ongoing management normally starts with an initial three-month term. One-off setup and optimisation can be scoped as a standalone project. Final responsibilities, approvals, delivery and commercial terms are agreed for the individual client.
No. Spotty Media can improve listing accuracy, completeness, activity and the route to useful customer actions, but Google controls search and Map results. Rankings, calls, directions, bookings, visits and revenue cannot be guaranteed.
Tell Spotty Media which venue or locations you manage, the platforms already in use and whether you need setup, optimisation, ongoing updates or review support. We can audit the current position and recommend a scope based on the work actually required.
